The Kanoa II is an award winning, multi-million dollar vessel where you will enjoy comfortable shaded seating, flat screen television, a full sound system and a full service premium bar.  There are 3 restrooms, 2 fresh water showers, a 20 foot water slide, a diving platform and floatation toys for all.

Body Glove Cruises is the first boat in the state of Hawaii to offer a “Reef Safe” sunscreen.  This has been tested and does not harm the coral reef as it stays on your skin and not go into the in the ocean water.

On our Deluxe Morning Snorkel & Dolphin Adventure, we take you to an area of the Kona coast that is exclusive to our cruise company. Our Historical Sunset Dinner Cruise has been voted the best dinner cruise on The Big Island for five consecutive years West Hawaii Today. Here you will be treated to informative and engaging historical narrative, live entertainment, an elaborate Hawaiian style BBQ buffet dinner, a free cocktail from our full-service bar and an amazing Pacific Ocean sunset.

During winter months, from December to the beginning of April, we watch whales. Our naturalist is a wealth of information, and the humpbacks that visit our waters here are active. They sing, spout, spy-hop, and breach, and, in the rare circumstance that you do not see a whale with us, you can come again free. That's our guarantee.

What should I bring with me?

For the snorkel dolphin adventure, we recommend you bring your suit, towel and sunglasses. If you wish to SCUBA, or wish to purchase cocktails or retail items such as underwater cameras or GoPRos, we recommend you bring extra cash or a credit card. If you are joining Body Glove for the Historical Dinner Cruise, we recommend a lightweight jacket and comfortable flat shoes. All major credit cards are accepted.

Will we see dolphins?

There is a 98% chance of seeing dolphins all year round from the boat as they enjoy riding in the wake. On rare occasions they come to visit at the snorkel location. Dolphin sighting are guaranteed or come again free for the Deluxe Snorkel & Dolphin Watch.

Should I bring sunscreen?

No, unless you have medical reasons to use a specific brand. Body Glove Cruises is the first boat in the state of Hawaii to offer a “Reef Safe” sunscreen that does not harm the coral reef and stays on your skin and not in the ocean. There are several SPF pump stations onboard for complimentary use.

Are there bathrooms or showers on board?

Yes, the boat has three large bathrooms and 2 outdoor fresh water showers.

Is Body Glove Cruises able to accommodate wheelchairs?

Yes, Body Glove Cruises is wheelchair friendly. The customized boarding ramp, with portable extensions accommodates all wheelchairs including manual, electric and scooters. The lower deck of the 65’ catamaran is fully accessible from bow to stern including tables and restrooms. There is also limited handicapped parking on the Kailua Pier where the cruises depart for the ocean adventures. To obtain pier parking access please travel with your handicapped parking placard and when making your reservation let the team know your parking needs. Passes are limited and issues on a first come and first serve basis.

What if I’ve never snorkeled before?

Body Glove Cruises specializes in accommodating those who are new to snorkeling and non swimmers. “Snorkeling 101” is offered for beginners or those wanting a refresher course. The location is a protected bay that offers calm pool like condition and an array of flotation water toys is offered, including: sky vests, life jackets, noodles, sea view boards, boogie boards, and inner-tubes. The Captain and Crew are First aid, CPR and Lifeguard certified. There are always at least 3 designated lifeguards who are on watch while anyone is in the water.
